Do you love the outdoors and know how to lead a shop team? An outdoor and adventure store in Dunedin, New Zealand needs a Store Manager. You will care for daily trading, help the team grow and make sure customers get good advice.

Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of the store's everyday performance and retail work
- Stay active on the sales floor and lead by example
- Train staff with coaching, feedback and product lessons
- Create a friendly workplace with good teamwork, accountability and service
- Push sales and work towards the store KPIs
- Look after stock control, store paperwork, displays and daily processes
- Find ways to make the store run better and keep customers satisfied
- Help staff learn through the company's internal training programs
- Keep service, store presentation and compliance at a high level
- Work together with the Assistant Manager and regional leaders
- Use business sense to react to sales chances and new customer needs, and help the team learn about technical outdoor products and equipment
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven retail leadership in a Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar senior role
- Experience managing, coaching, and developing shop staff
- Good understanding of sales targets, KPIs, and how a retail business performs
- Confident, hands-on leader with strong skills in customer service and building relationships
- Good skills in administration, organisation, and running operations
- Can motivate a small team while keeping performance standards clear
- Strong communication and decision-making
- A real love of outdoor recreation, adventure, technical clothing, or specialist outdoor equipment
- Can work well in a fast-paced shop with many customers
- International applicants must have relevant professional experience that can be verified
