Cookie Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
Good news first: JobsAbroad Vietnam does not set any cookies of its own, and it has no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Below we explain, step by step, the very small amount your browser keeps for the site and which services from other companies may load while you visit.
1. A few words explained
- Cookie: a small text file a website puts on your device, which the browser sends back on later visits.
- sessionStorage: space linked to one browser tab. It is emptied when you close that tab.
- localStorage and IndexedDB: space that stays on your device until someone deletes it.
This page covers cookies and all of these other ways of storing information in a browser.
2. What is stored for visitors
On the public site, your browser keeps only one item, and no cookies at all:
- chunk_reload_at (sessionStorage): a time value. If we publish an update while your tab is open, it lets the page reload once by itself, so you do not see a broken page. It holds nothing about you and disappears when you close the tab.
It is never sent to us and is not used to recognise you or follow you.
3. What is stored for our staff
Our team uses a hidden admin page. When a staff member signs in there:
- Firebase Authentication (Google) keeps the sign-in session in IndexedDB or localStorage;
- the email address used to sign in is kept in localStorage.
These items only help our staff stay signed in. If you never open the admin page, none of them are created on your device.
4. Services from other companies
- Google Fonts. The site's fonts load from Google, which can see your IP address and browser details.
- Video pictures. When we show YouTube Shorts, their preview images come from i.ytimg.com. If there are no videos, nothing loads.
- Playing a video. The YouTube player loads from youtube-nocookie.com only after you tap a video. After that, YouTube may store data under Google's own policies.
- WhatsApp and sharing. The WhatsApp chat link, the channel link and any share buttons do nothing until you tap them.
- Other websites we link to. Government websites, and the other websites we link to (Build AI CV, Talent Tabloid and Skills Assessment Australia), use their own cookies under their own policies when you visit them.
5. Why you see no cookie message
Many websites ask you to accept cookies. JobsAbroad Vietnam has no analytics, advertising pixels or tracking scripts, so there is nothing to accept or refuse, and we do not show a cookie message.
6. Your browser, your choice
- You can delete or block site data in your browser's privacy settings. You lose nothing on the public site by doing this.
- A private or incognito window clears its storage when you close it.
- If Google Fonts are blocked, the site uses a font already on your device.
- If you do not want YouTube to store anything, do not press play. The preview pictures alone do not load the player.
- Every public page works with browser storage switched off. Only the staff sign-in needs it.
7. If this changes
If we ever add a cookie or another stored item, we will list it on this page and change the date at the top. For everything else about personal information, please read our Privacy Policy.
