This is a Software Developer job in Sydney, Australia. A Software Developer writes and looks after computer applications. In this job, the applications are made for clients of the business. Your work begins when a client explains a need. It ends when the application is live and well supported. QA, cloud and project teams help you on the way.

Key Responsibilities
- Design web and software applications. Follow the client's requirements
- Develop the applications and maintain them
- Build responsive front-end interfaces. Use ReactJS for this
- Develop back-end services, APIs and databases. Integrate them too
- Write clean code. Document it well. Make sure it can be tested
- Take part in code reviews, testing and debugging. The QA team works with you
- Support deployment. This uses CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments
- Work with clients and stakeholders. Gather their requirements and deliver solutions on time
- Learn about new technologies and best practices as they appear
Requirements & Eligibility
- You need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field
- You need 2 to 4 years of commercial experience in software development
- You need strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript
- You need strong skills in ReactJS
- For the back end, you need experience in at least one of Node.js, .NET, Java or Python
- You need good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- You need experience with Git
- You need experience with agile ways of working
- You need clear English communication, written and verbal
- You need full working rights in Australia
- You need cloud experience (AWS or Azure) and familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
