A busy warehouse in Christchurch, New Zealand, needs a Storeperson for the night shift. The job is permanent and full-time. You would work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
You will handle stock, help the warehouse run well and keep safety first. Employer sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates. This job also includes customer service when needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive forklifts safely to load, unload and move goods
- Pick and pack orders correctly
- Unload shipping containers (container devanning)
- Do manual handling and move stock around the warehouse
- Receive, check and store new stock
- Prepare customer orders for dispatch on time
- Do warehouse paperwork and keep stock records
- Help customers politely when needed
- Do MPI Accredited Person duties where applicable
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and safe
- Follow health and safety rules every day, and work as part of the night shift team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum one year of experience operating forklifts
- Experience operating forklifts up to 5-tonne capacity
- Experience operating reach trucks
- A forklift licence or relevant certification is preferred
- Using forklift attachments is advantageous but not essential
- Physically fit, able to do manual handling work
- Strong attention to detail
- Committed to workplace safety
- Can work alone and in a team
- Reliable and motivated, able to work permanent nightshift hours
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Warehouse or logistics experience from before is highly desirable
