Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily work of the warehouse
- Lead, motivate and help the warehouse team
- Coordinate receiving, storage, picking, dispatch, deliveries and customer collections
- Manage incoming shipments and stock transfers inside the business
- Process customer orders correctly and on time
- Coordinate delivery and collection schedules
- Monitor stock levels and keep inventory records accurate
- Do cycle counts and look into stock differences
- Rotate stock correctly and store products safely
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised and efficient
- Make sure people follow warehouse procedures and standard operating processes
- Promote and check workplace health and safety
- Coordinate staffing needs and support temporary labour arrangements when required
- Help with servicing and certification of vehicles, machinery and equipment, and keep equipment, vehicles and company property safe
- Support compliance and operational certifications
- Coordinate incoming container processing and related warehouse activities
- Keep warehouse systems correct and stock information current
- Monitor DIFOT and customer order performance
- Finish operational paperwork, timesheets, reports and compliance documents
- Find ways to improve warehouse processes and start practical efforts to raise efficiency and productivity
- Support the Warehouse Manager with planning and staffing
- Work with the wider operations team for a better customer experience
- Encourage accountability, teamwork and a positive workplace
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision, logistics, distribution or supply chain operations
- Experience leading or coordinating warehouse staff
- Practical knowledge of stock control and inventory management
- Experience with customer orders, dispatch, deliveries or collections
- An understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
- You are confident in a hands-on warehouse
- Strong organisation and time management
- Good writing and speaking skills
- A customer-focused approach to warehouse work
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- You can handle many operational priorities
- Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
- You can lead and motivate a team well, and look for ways to improve operations
- A positive attitude and a wish to learn
- You can give genuine and verifiable details of your past jobs and relevant experience
