Requirements & Eligibility
- Recognised Early Childhood Education qualification
- Full and current New Zealand Teacher Practising Certificate
- Relevant experience in early childhood education, especially with infants
- Shown ability to build good relationships with tamariki and whanau
- Strong spoken and written communication skills
- Confident in planning, assessment, observation, and documentation
- Can show culturally responsive teaching practice
- Committed to bicultural practice and Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Professional, organised, calm, adaptable, and reflective
- Can work well in an education team
- Willing to do ongoing professional development
- Applicants must satisfy relevant New Zealand employment, registration, and immigration requirements
- Strong understanding of infant learning, development, and responsive caregiving, with a real passion for supporting babies and young children
