Love working with young children? A respected early learning provider in Queensland wants 5 Early Childhood Teachers. The work is in Cairns, and every position is full-time. You will teach in kindergarten programs that the government has approved. You will plan lessons, watch how each child grows and talk with families. You will also share ideas with other teachers.
The employer says visa sponsorship is available for eligible overseas candidates. Teachers with overseas qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach kindergarten learning programs that are interesting and right for each child's stage of development
- Make a safe, welcoming and inspiring space for children
- Support each child's learning, growth and wellbeing
- Plan and evaluate learning experiences, and write them down
- Watch children's progress and record it with observations and learning documents
- Be kind and respectful with children
- Work as a partner with parents and families, and tell them about their child's learning
- Update electronic programs, observations and learning portfolios
- Work as a team with other educators and teaching staff
- Help make the kindergarten program better
- Apply the National Quality Standards and National Regulations that are relevant to the work
- Follow health, safety and wellbeing practices
- Join training and professional development, and share what you know with other Early Childhood Teachers in the wider group
- Help to make a positive and respectful team
Requirements & Eligibility
- You hold an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification
- OR you hold an approved Diploma-level Early Childhood Education and Care qualification and are working towards an ACECQA-approved ECT qualification
- OR you are working towards an approved ECT qualification and have completed at least 50% of it
- If you apply with 50% of the qualification completed, you must provide academic transcripts
- You meet the ACECQA assessment requirements that apply
- You meet the relevant English language requirements
- You meet the eligibility rules for the Australian visa pathway that applies
- You can obtain and keep a Queensland Working with Children Blue Card
- You hold current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training, or you will get it as required
- Good written and spoken communication
- A real passion for early childhood education, with energy, enthusiasm and a strong work ethic
- Reliable, flexible and ready to work in a team
- You build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, and understand how children learn and develop
- You want a long-term career in early childhood education
