Do you like busy events and meeting new people? An events and hospitality company in Sydney is growing its front-of-house team and needs casual Waiter staff.
You will serve at weddings, company functions, gala dinners and private parties in different venues. Every event is a little different, so you keep learning every week. Relevant overseas hospitality experience may be considered for sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Give polite, careful service during every event
- Welcome guests and help them in a friendly, professional way
- Set up tables, dining areas, function rooms and service stations
- Take food and drink orders correctly, then serve them quickly and to service standards
- Watch what guests need and answer requests fast
- Clear and reset tables during and after functions
- Keep the front-of-house area clean, tidy and ready for guests
- Work closely with the kitchen, event and service teams so weddings, company functions, private events and big celebrations go well
- Follow venue procedures for food safety, hygiene, workplace safety and responsible alcohol service
- Look professional and stay positive in every shift, and adapt to different venues, event types, guest needs and service demands
Requirements & Eligibility
- Earlier experience in hospitality, waiting, functions or customer service is preferred
- A real wish to give guests a high-quality experience
- Strong spoken communication and people skills
- Reliable, on time and professionally presented
- Comfortable in busy, fast-changing places
- Able to work well with kitchen and Front of House teams
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, public holidays and event-based shifts
- Current Australian RSA certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Appropriate Australian working rights where applicable, and willingness to work across multiple venues throughout New South Wales
