Key Responsibilities
- Work hands-on during busy service times
- Guide and motivate employees to build a strong hospitality team
- Support onboarding, training, coaching and staff development
- Coordinate rosters and staffing needs so work runs well
- Check stock, ordering and inventory
- Keep the venue clean, tidy and well organised
- Handle customer concerns in a professional way and find practical solutions
- Watch business performance and help with sales and growth ideas
- Support cost control and careful use of venue resources
- Build a positive workplace culture with teamwork, accountability and respect, and follow health, safety, food safety and operating procedures
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in hospitality, restaurant or venue management
- Proven ability to lead and develop a hospitality team
- Experience managing the daily needs of a busy venue
- Strong communication and people skills, with a confident, hands-on leadership style
- You stay organised and effective in busy periods
- Experience with rostering, working with staff and inventory management
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- You can help to reach sales and operational targets
