Are you a diesel mechanic? Do you like hands-on work outdoors? A company has many cattle stations in the north of Western Australia. These stations are very remote. The company needs two mechanics. The job is listed under Broome, WA.
You will fix and service many machines. These include cars, trucks, motorbikes and station machinery. When something breaks, you go and repair it. You keep spare parts ready. You also teach station workers how to check machines each day.

Requirements & Eligibility
- A trade qualification in Diesel / Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
- Your time in this trade is at least 2 years
- You have done mechanic work in a job like this one
- You truly enjoy living and working on a station
- You handle diagnostic and test machines on every vehicle the company owns without risk
- C Class driver's licence (essential)
- Motorcycle licence, HR or MC licence would be an advantage
- You work with tools and equipment quickly and without risk
- You are happy working by yourself far from town
- You are also happy working with other people far from town
- You think of innovative ways to fix things when parts or tools are missing
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, good communication and a positive attitude would be an advantage; you can cope with high temperatures and high humidity
