Key Responsibilities
- Make and assemble aluminium and sheet metal products
- Work from technical drawings, plans and simple sketches
- Do aluminium TIG and laser welding
- Use machines that cut, bend and roll metal
- Measure the material and get it ready for fabrication
- Do accurate fabrication and finishing work
- Check finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Help production and the workshop run smoothly
- Work with colleagues to solve fabrication problems
- Share ideas to improve how things are made
- Look after your tools, equipment and work area, and follow all safety and workplace rules
Requirements & Eligibility
- 3–5 years or more of relevant industry experience
- You have worked before as a Sheet Metal or Aluminium Fabricator
- Strong, practical aluminium welding experience
- Able to do TIG or laser welding well
- Able to understand and follow fabrication drawings
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication equipment
- Fencing and gates experience is highly regarded
- Excellent attention to detail and good practical problem-solving
- Committed to quality and safe work
