Key Responsibilities
- Give high-quality cuts, colour and styling
- Ask clients what they like and suggest the right services
- Create a personal look for each client with excellent technique
- Give each client a professional visit they remember
- Build good relationships with new and returning clients
- Use professional haircare products, tools and equipment with confidence
- Learn new hair trends, techniques and salon practices
- Keep the salon clean and well presented
- Suggest professional products and services that suit clients
- Work with other stylists and the salon team
- Share your knowledge and guide junior team members
- Join training and workshops, and help build a positive salon culture
Requirements & Eligibility
- A recognised hairdressing qualification
- Proven experience as a Senior Stylist or in a similar senior role
- Strong practical skills in cutting, colouring and styling
- A work history in professional salons
- Can show evidence of your qualifications and industry experience
- Good communication and people skills
- Professional way of serving clients
- Can work alone and also help the team
- Passion for hairdressing and a wish for high-quality results
- Ready to mentor and support newer stylists, and keen to keep learning and building skills
