A salon in Auckland, New Zealand, is growing and wants experienced Senior Hairdressers. If you are good at cutting, colouring and styling, this could be a good next step.
You will work with many clients and a friendly, professional team. The salon wants stylists with strong technical ability and a real love for hair. Sponsorship is available for eligible overseas candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Give high-quality haircuts for women and children
- Create professional blow waves and finished styles
- Do global colour and regrowth applications
- Complete foils, highlights and balayage
- Provide toning and colour correction
- Perform hair treatments and smoothing services
- Talk with clients to understand what their hair needs, and suggest suitable haircare products and treatments
- Keep technical and service standards strong at every appointment and build good client relationships
- Work confidently with little supervision
- Help teach and guide junior team members, including in demonstrations, workshops and practical training when needed
- Keep your workspace clean and organised and follow salon procedures, hygiene requirements and workplace standards
Requirements & Eligibility
- Recognised hairdressing qualification equivalent to NZQF Level 4 or higher
- Minimum 2 years of professional industry experience
- Strong practical skills in cutting, colouring, foiling and styling
- Experience with balayage, highlights, toning and colour correction
- Confident when working alone in a professional salon
- Strong client consultation and communication skills
- Excellent customer service
- A reliable, professional and committed attitude to work
- Can work weekends when required
- Beauty therapy skills or earlier beauty industry experience is advantageous
- Experience mentoring junior stylists or giving practical training is advantageous
- Can clearly explain which services you can do with confidence, and tell the salon where more training may be needed
- Willingness to meet New Zealand employment and visa requirements
