Key Responsibilities
- Look after the whole front-of-house operation
- Lead and support a team of local and international staff
- Coach staff so service and work quality get better
- Set clear customer service and work standards
- Run the opening and closing steps, and do the daily cash-up
- Take reservations and organise bookings
- Watch guest flow and keep service smooth at busy times
- Help management plan rosters and staff schedules
- Keep Directors and General Management updated
- Follow workplace policies and procedures every day
- Find service problems and fix them
- Build good relationships so guests come back, and support ideas that raise customer satisfaction and revenue

Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a restaurant manager or in a similar senior hospitality job
- Experience managing front-of-house
- Able to lead, train and develop hospitality staff
- Good knowledge of busy, multi-sitting restaurants
- Excellent communication and people skills
- A mature, professional way of managing people
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to build relationships
- Working knowledge of hospitality service standards
- Good understanding of liquor service and licensing compliance
- Able to manage guest flow well in busy trading periods
- Strong organisational and decision-making skills
- Able to stay calm and effective under pressure
- Willing to learn the venue's products, systems and procedures
- Flexible for evening and weekend work, and able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week across 5 days
- Genuine hospitality work experience that can be checked
