Key Responsibilities
- Lead the front-of-house team and watch over daily service
- Manage the floor so guests have a smooth, friendly meal, and keep customer service high
- Work together with the chef and senior managers
- Give tasks to staff and keep service moving well
- Supervise staff and solve problems quickly
- Train team members to reach service standards, and check that they follow workplace rules
- Keep hygiene, cleanliness and food safety high
- Check stock levels, keep stock records correct and talk with suppliers about orders, thinking about which products are in season
- Help the management team with daily restaurant work

Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years of relevant restaurant management or floor management experience
- A good understanding of Italian food, cuisine and products
- Proven experience in leading and supervising hospitality staff
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Strong leadership and team management
- You can train, motivate and coordinate staff well
- Excellent organisation and time management
- You stay calm, professional and organised in a busy restaurant
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and workplace standards
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- An Italian background, or strong knowledge of Italian dining culture, is highly regarded
