Key Responsibilities
- Give safe, kind and high-quality nursing care to residents
- Check each resident's health, watch long-term conditions and act when things change
- Write, use and review care plans for each person
- Give medicines and treatments as the clinical needs require
- Keep clear and correct clinical notes
- Help residents with their health and wellbeing, and protect their dignity, independence and quality of life
- Work with care staff, doctors and allied health workers, and talk well with residents and their families
- Keep the care setting safe and respectful, and follow clinical, aged care and work health and safety standards
- Help the team stay positive and supportive
- Support residents and families with their ongoing healthcare needs
Requirements & Eligibility
- You hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- You now work as a Registered Nurse in Australia
- Aged care experience is highly regarded
- You have valid Australian working rights
- Strong clinical and communication skills, and a professional, reliable and caring way with residents
- You can work well in a multidisciplinary team
- A genuine interest in a long-term career in regional NSW
- You agree to a minimum 2-year employment contract
