An aged care provider in regional Western Australia needs Registered Nurses. The nurse checks each resident's health needs, plans care with other health workers and keeps care plans up to date. The nurse also guides care staff so that clinical care stays at a high standard.
The provider wants kind, motivated nurses who care about older people. This job is open to Registered Nurses already residing in Australia. Visa sponsorship may be available for eligible nurses.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess residents and respond when their health or wellbeing changes.
- Develop and review person-centred care plans with residents and their families, and put the plans into action.
- Give medications and clinical treatments following professional standards.
- Lead, mentor and guide care staff.
- Work with GPs, allied health professionals and outside providers to coordinate resident care.
- Keep clinical records and reports accurate and on time.
- Support AN-ACC assessments.
- Follow the Aged Care Quality Standards, policies and best practice.
- Join infection prevention work.
- Join risk management and quality improvement work.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- 2+ years' experience as an RN in an aged care setting (or equivalent).
- Strong clinical assessment skills.
- Strong care coordination skills.
- Ability to guide staff in wound and diabetes management.
- Sound understanding of medication systems.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
