This Project Engineer job is in Sydney. It is a full-time role on big building projects in Australia. The company builds high-rise buildings. They want someone with a strong background in structures, formwork and concrete. The projects are large and need careful teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily engineering and construction work on major building projects, and keep site and stakeholders talking clearly
- Plan and watch formwork and concrete structural works
- Work with subcontractors, suppliers and construction teams
- Read drawings, specifications and engineering papers
- Help to plan the program, the order of work and the construction steps
- Check progress against schedules and key milestones
- Support contract administration and project reports
- Help consultants, engineers and subcontractors agree on technical matters
- Notice construction problems and help find practical technical answers
- Check quality so the works meet project requirements
- Keep project records, documents and progress reports, and assist senior project staff
- Help to complete construction works safely, efficiently and on time
Requirements & Eligibility
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction Management
- 2–5+ years of relevant post-graduate construction experience
- You have proven experience in formwork and concrete structures
- You have worked on high-rise, commercial or large-scale building projects
- You have worked for a construction subcontractor
- You understand construction programming and the order of work
- You have contract administration experience and can coordinate and manage subcontractors well
- Good technical, communication and organisation skills
- You can show and verify your relevant qualifications and professional experience
- Relevant overseas construction experience is welcomed
- You can meet Australian employment and sponsorship requirements
