This Project Analyst job is a contract role in Perth. A piling contractor needs a technical site administrator for a big solar construction project. It is not a normal office admin job. It is a technical job for someone with a background in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Solar QA or a related area.
You will work with the project team and study construction data. You will check quantities, keep project systems in order and make reports better. Employer sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Write up each day's and each week's production, timesheet and plant reports.
- Study the data on how productive the construction work is and how the project is performing.
- Check and match the quantities for piling, trackers and modules.
- Maintain the survey, pile testing and tolerance registers.
- Look after ITPs, ITCs, ITRs, punch lists and QA registers.
- Keep AppSheet trackers, project systems and reporting dashboards working well.
- Help to make site systems better and faster, and coordinate delivery registers, materials and laydown planning.
- Find gaps in the data, patterns over time and ideas for improvement.
- Share reports and documents with project teams, the client and the principal contractor.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Desirable: study or work experience in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Operations Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Confidence when you work with large or complex data sets.
- Advanced Excel skills. You should know formulas, pivot tables, data validation and VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP.
- A strong interest in process improvement, productivity and operational efficiency.
- The ability to understand how work flows and to find better ways to run systems and processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Learns new systems quickly.
- Can work autonomously at a remote site.
- Experience with Google Sheets, AppSheet, Google Data Studio, Primavera P6 or Employment Hero would be advantageous.
- Experience in solar construction, manufacturing, logistics, operations or other project based work will also be highly regarded.
