You do not need piling experience for this job in Sydney. The employer wants people who are practical, dependable and happy to learn. You will see piling, concreting, steel fixing and construction machines up close.
You will learn step by step with experienced crew members, and your supervisor will guide you each day. If you work hard and stay reliable, you can take on more tasks over time. Suitable candidates may be considered for sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Help with piling and foundation work on building sites
- Support concreting and steel fixing work
- Learn building methods in supervised, hands-on training
- Help operate construction machines safely
- Work closely with supervisors and the experienced crew
- Follow site instructions, safety rules and quality needs
- Prepare and look after tools and equipment every day
- Keep work areas clean, tidy and safe
- Come to work on time and perform well every day
- Grow your practical skills with more site experience, and take on extra duties as you improve
- Aim to become senior crew or a team leader in the future
Requirements & Eligibility
- Physically fit enough for manual construction work
- Reliable, and committed to regular attendance
- Willing to learn new construction skills from experienced workers
- Able to understand and follow workplace instructions
- Able to work well in a construction team
- Previous labouring or construction experience is beneficial but not essential
- Experience with concreting, steel fixing, piling, or machinery is advantageous
- Willing to join workplace training
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic, and able to provide genuine evidence of previous employment or relevant experience where applicable
