A painting business in Perth, Western Australia, needs a Painter & Decorator Team Leader. The company has painted homes and commercial buildings for over 25 years. The job is full-time and permanent, and it suits painters with commercial construction experience.
You will report to the Painting Manager and lead a team on many sites. The company cares about details, on-time projects, special finishes, wallcoverings and good customer relationships. TSS482 visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Report to the Painting Manager
- Lead your team across many sites and keep them motivated
- Run projects
- Manage the people in your team
- Solve problems, or ask the Painting Manager for help to reach a good result
- Work safely and follow OSH policies, company procedures & induction manuals
Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade Certified Painter (must have completed an apprenticeship)
- Proven experience as a leading hand or 2IC role
- Can manage projects and the members of the team
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail to ensure quality control
- Can offer solutions to problems, or work with the Painting Manager to get a positive outcome when they arise
- Can read and understand project drawings (floor plans/elevations)
- Manual driver's license and White card
- No subcontractors or ABN holders
- Desirable: EWP and/or Working at Heights ticket
- Desirable: First Aid
- Desirable: Experience in airless spraying
- Current National Criminal History Check
