A Human Resources Manager is needed in Brisbane, Australia. This is a part-time leadership job. You will look after important HR work for a team of more than 160 employees.
You will help the business hire good people, support them and keep them, and you will make sure the company follows employment rules. Genuine, verifiable experience is important for this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Create practical HR plans and put them into action
- Give leaders advice about the people the business needs
- Lead hiring and talent acquisition
- Plan future skills and who can take over key roles
- Help employees stay engaged and stay with the company
- Handle performance matters
- Handle employee relations matters
- Run workplace investigations and look into grievances
- Coordinate disciplinary steps
- Make sure the company follows employment legislation and awards
- Check and update HR policies, procedures and documents
- Prepare workforce reports and HR metrics
- Support reviews of employment terms
- Assist with injury management and return-to-work programs
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or senior HR professional
- A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred
- Work experience in construction, mining, engineering, infrastructure or similar operational sectors
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law
- Understanding of modern awards and workplace relations
- Experience in employee relations
- Experience in investigations
- Strong recruitment and workforce planning background
- Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills
- Able to work with senior leaders and operational employees
- Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms
- Able to work independently in a hands-on environment
- Sponsorship or migration experience highly regarded
