A hotel business on the Gold Coast, Australia needs an Executive Housekeeping Manager. You will lead the housekeeping team. You will make sure rooms are clean and ready before guests arrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be in charge of daily housekeeping work and team results
  • Plan each day's work and give jobs to staff by priority
  • Hold team briefings and explain what good service looks like

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Experience managing hotel housekeeping operations
  • Past work as a Housekeeping Manager or senior housekeeping professional is highly regarded
  • Ability to supervise, coordinate and motivate housekeeping teams
  • Good understanding of hotel room standards and guest expectations
  • Real hands-on experience for this position
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management
  • Able to handle competing priorities in a busy hotel
  • Confident when solving operational problems
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
  • Strong commitment to compliance and professional standards
  • Understanding of annualised budgets and operational costs
  • Professional presentation and a service-focused attitude
  • Can work weekends and public holidays when required
  • No formal qualification is required, but you must be able to substantiate your relevant professional experience
