Do you repair heavy vehicles? A fleet in Western Australia needs a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic in Perth. You will work on buses, coaches, prime movers, light vehicles, cranes and small plant.

Key Responsibilities
- Service and look after a mixed fleet of heavy vehicles
- Do preventative maintenance programs
- Find mechanical faults and decide how to repair them
- Repair mechanical parts
- Replace components
- Work on diesel engines and heavy vehicle systems
- Help when vehicles break down and with maintenance in the field
- Inspect vehicles and note what maintenance they need
- Keep workmanship and safety at a high level
- Finish workshop and maintenance tasks efficiently
- Follow operating, safety and compliance procedures
Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade-qualified Heavy Vehicle, Diesel or Bus Mechanic
- Experience with heavy vehicles or commercial fleets
- Experience with buses, coaches, trucks or similar equipment
- Good mechanical diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Happy to work with many different vehicles
- Can work in regional and remote WA environments
- Reliable and adaptable
- Safety-conscious
- Current driver's licence, with HR desirable
- Can meet pre-employment medical requirements
- Can meet drug and alcohol screening requirements
