This hairdressing job is in a boutique salon in Sydney, Australia. The salon needs a Hairdresser with real experience. You should cut, colour and style with skill, and you should care about your clients.
Good clients want to feel heard. The salon wants someone who listens, gives steady results and earns trust over time. You will also work with the other stylists as one team. Eligible candidates may be considered for employer sponsorship, which is when an employer supports your work visa.

Key Responsibilities
- Give hairdressing and styling services that fit each client's needs
- Talk with clients before the service and suggest styles and treatments
- Deliver good results in cutting, styling, colouring and other salon services
- Use strong technical skills to give a quality finish

- Keep a professional standard in every appointment
- Grow your own group of regular clients
- Work towards the salon targets and keep the quality of service high
- Learn about new techniques, products and trends, and join training
- Suggest suitable professional haircare products
- Keep the salon workspace clean, tidy and welcoming
- Work on your own and also help the salon team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional experience as a Hairdresser or Stylist
- Strong practical knowledge of modern hairdressing techniques
- Real and verifiable industry experience, and the ability to give evidence of your past professional experience
- Confidence in client consultation and styling
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A clear commitment to quality and client satisfaction
- Able to work alone and in a team
- Reliable, well-organised and professionally presented
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Ready to learn and to adapt to changing industry trends
- A relevant hairdressing qualification and/or substantial professional experience
