Key Responsibilities
- Run the whole property and take responsibility for its business results
- Lead the opening and the setup of a new hospitality business
- Create clear systems, processes and service standards from day one
- Guide and coach the leader of each department so they reach their goals
- Build a team culture of responsibility, teamwork and good service
- Make sure guests have a high-quality stay every time
- Manage guest rooms, guest services, food and beverage, housekeeping and maintenance
- Watch revenue, staff efficiency and operating costs
- Use data and daily observations to improve results and guest satisfaction
- Find problems early and choose practical solutions
- Keep all departments talking to each other
- Support staff engagement, training and growth
- Show the property's values through strong leadership and kind guest service, improving step by step while keeping operations steady
Requirements & Eligibility
- Senior experience in managing hotels, lodging or lifestyle properties, with a proven record
- Able to lead teams from many departments and handle complex operations
- Strong hospitality leadership with measurable business results
- Experience building teams, processes and service standards in a changing workplace
- Can balance hands-on leadership with strategic business planning
- Understands lodging operations, guest experience and what makes a business profitable
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, labour management and cost control
- A strong communicator who can influence and motivate different kinds of teams
- A confident decision-maker who solves operational problems in a practical way
- Food and beverage leadership experience is highly regarded
- Love for hospitality, travel and people, and for creating memorable experiences; applicants must be able to show verified skills, experience and leadership capability
