Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality garden maintenance at homes and commercial properties
- Do horticulture work such as pruning, hedging, weeding, planting and plant health care
- Keep gardens at a premium standard with close attention to detail and ideas for improvement
- Guide and support team members so each day runs well
- Share your horticulture knowledge with junior workers and apprentices
- Plan your assigned tasks and finish them on time
- Suggest garden improvements and suitable maintenance solutions
- Use and look after gardening equipment safely
- Work closely with the team for steady service quality, and represent the business politely with clients
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated experience in horticulture, garden maintenance or landscaping
- Relevant horticulture qualification or strong industry experience
- Can handle garden maintenance tasks alone with confidence
- Team experience, including helping others as a leader
- Strong communication skills and a professional manner
- A reliable, honest and committed attitude to work, with excellent attention to detail and pride in your work
- Good organisation and time management
- Able to use hand tools, machinery and industry equipment
- Current manual driver’s licence
