Key Responsibilities
- Do formwork carpentry to project specifications
- Do concreting, placing and finishing work
- Install and secure reinforcement and steel parts
- Support Form, Reo, Pour and related civil construction work
- Use hand tools, power tools and construction equipment safely
- Read drawings and follow your supervisors and site management
- Prepare the work area, materials and equipment before you start
- Keep quality high in every task
- Follow site safety procedures and keep the site safe
- Look for hazards and report problems quickly
- Work well with other trades and crews and finish on time
- Help with extra civil construction duties when the project needs it
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years of civil construction experience that is relevant
- Proven practical experience in the nominated construction trade
- Able to show your previous jobs and work duties
- Current White Card
- Relevant trade qualifications or tickets where applicable
- Dogman, Working at Heights, Telehandler, CN, C6 or HR tickets are advantageous
- Good understanding of construction safety
- Good communication, and able to follow site instructions
- Able to work well alone and in a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship, with reliable attendance and a readiness to meet responsibilities and project deadlines
- Able to work in metropolitan, regional and interstate project environments
