Do you like leading a team on a busy shift? This Duty Manager job is in Sydney, Australia. You will keep the venue running well. You will guide your staff and look after customers. Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for daily venue operations and service quality
- Supervise staff and organise shifts so they run smoothly
- Help with staff rosters, training and performance
- Lead by example and keep a professional, customer-focused workplace
- Watch customer satisfaction and solve complaints well
- Manage stock, inventory checks and ordering of supplies
- Follow workplace health, safety and venue rules, and keep to licensing duties
- Help with promotions, functions and special events
- Review sales, staff performance and customer feedback
- Give accurate operational reports to management, and act early when you find a problem
Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated professional experience in hospitality supervision or management
- Strong practical understanding of venue and bar operations
- Proven leadership capability, with experience managing hospitality teams
- Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Able to make sound decisions in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Experience with stock management and basic financial responsibilities
- Able to work evenings, weekends and flexible hospitality shifts
- Relevant hospitality or management qualifications are desirable
- Current onshore status in Australia; able to provide genuine, verifiable evidence of relevant work experience
