Key Responsibilities
- Prepare breakfast and brunch dishes using set recipes and specifications
- Cook popular Australian breakfast and brunch dishes to a steady standard
- Handle cooking duties during service with little supervision
- Finish prep and mise en place for the day
- Keep food quality, presentation and portion sizes consistent
- Work well with the kitchen team in busy times and talk clearly during service
- Follow kitchen recipes, procedures and systems
- Keep the kitchen clean, safe and tidy
- Listen to feedback and make the needed improvements
- Help on weekends and public holidays when needed
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commercial kitchen experience as a Cook
- Experience making breakfast and brunch dishes
- Able to work alone and with confidence during service
- Able to follow recipes and established kitchen systems
- Consistent in food preparation and quality
- Strong communication skills
- Good teamwork
- Reliable, on time and professional
- Stays calm and organised in a fast-paced kitchen
- Willing to follow workplace procedures and accept constructive feedback
- Available for weekends and public holidays
- Work experience that can be supported with proper employment evidence
