Key Responsibilities
- Do the daily food preparation the kitchen needs
- Plan what to prepare first with the team leader
- Run your own kitchen section during service
- Make and plate food to the right standard each time
- Help the kitchen team when it is busy, and talk clearly with your colleagues
- Keep your workstation tidy and efficient
- Clean equipment and work areas during the shift
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace rules, and help make a friendly, professional kitchen
Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience in a commercial kitchen, café or hospitality environment
- Good understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations
- Can work well in a fast-paced service environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Positive and reliable approach to work
- Willing to accept constructive feedback and improve
- Can work alone and also support the wider team
- Committed to workplace cleanliness and food safety; available for early morning and daytime shifts
