This is a Client Manager job for an experienced accountant in Sydney, Australia. The firm is a public practice. It does not use timesheets, and clients pay a monthly subscription. You will look after business owners and give them clear, useful advice.

Key Responsibilities
- Look after an established group of business clients and build trusted, long relationships with their owners
- Give practical advice with a commercial focus, and help clients with business planning and big decisions
- Review financial information and talk about business results with clients
- Find opportunities, risks and ways to improve the business
- Help with cash flow and financial forecasts
- Give guidance on tax and accounting matters, and oversee accounting and tax compliance
- Be a reliable, professional adviser for clients' ongoing needs
- Work with the team to deliver accurate, high-quality results
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3–5 years of public practice accounting experience, and a CA or CPA qualification
- Experience managing and advising business clients
- Strong skills in business advisory and in client relationships
- Excellent communication skills that build trust and credibility
- Confident to work directly with business owners and key decision-makers
- Strong commercial awareness and a practical way to solve problems
- Good knowledge of accounting and taxation compliance requirements
- A professional background and qualifications that can be verified for employer consideration
- Australian work experience will be highly regarded
