A fast-growing hospitality business in Sydney is looking for a Chef. The work is full-time. The business likes real experience and professional standards. You need a good work history, the right qualifications and kitchen skills. You will cook in a busy kitchen and help the team serve food that is safe and tasty.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes to set quality and presentation standards
- Do daily preparation and mise en place for service
- Keep taste, quality, portion sizes and presentation the same each time
- Work well in busy service times
- Work closely with the kitchen team for smooth service
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety rules
- Keep prep areas, equipment and workstations clean and tidy
- Check ingredient quality and help with correct food storage
- Rotate stock, cut food waste and help keep stock at the right level
- Follow recipes, cooking methods and kitchen procedures
- Change quickly when service needs or kitchen priorities change
- Support senior chefs and other kitchen staff
- Be a positive, professional team member
Requirements & Eligibility
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or similar qualification
- Minimum 1 year of commercial kitchen experience
- You can work with confidence in a professional kitchen
- Your qualifications and work history can be checked
- Practical knowledge of food preparation and commercial cooking
- Strong commitment to food quality, hygiene and presentation
- You stay organised and productive under pressure, with good communication and people skills
- Reliable attendance and a strong professional work ethic
- You are willing to work weekends and public holidays
- Must currently be based in Sydney
- Must satisfy applicable Australian immigration and sponsorship requirements
