A golf club in north-east Victoria needs a Chef. The club's kitchen is busy, and trade is growing. The new Chef will help the head chef, the sous chef and the kitchenhands. The Chef reports to the Head Chef.
The team is professional and active. There are chances to grow your career. The job can start now. It is a Full-Time job. The town is in a tourist area. Visitors come to ski, fish, hike and go boating.
You must be already in Australia and have valid work rights. Sponsorship, which means an employer supports your visa, may be available to exceptional applicants after a successful trial period.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare menu dishes
- Cook menu dishes
- Check the quality of food while it is prepared
- Check how the food looks when it is served
- Train and supervise new staff
- Train and supervise staff with less experience
- Supervise the cooks and help when needed
- Give tasks to team members
- Follow hygiene rules, check food stock and place orders
Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience and qualifications in commercial cookery (Cert 3 or higher)
- Minimum 2 years working in a commercial kitchen
- Flexible availability and work on weekdays and weekends for a 7-day operation
- Good communication skills
- Can work without supervision and in a team
- Understanding of OH&S and food hygiene requirements, plus valid work rights in Australia
