Key Responsibilities
- Take full care of the preparation and service of food in your section
- Make sure each dish has the right quality, look and portion size
- Help senior chefs keep the kitchen smooth and efficient
- Offer ideas for menus, specials and fresh local seasonal food
- Guide and help the junior cooks
- Keep your section clean and handle food safely
- Follow food safety steps and workplace rules
- Check ingredients and stock, and tell the team what to reorder
- Prepare for busy times, functions and special events

Requirements & Eligibility
- Recognised culinary qualification or equivalent professional training
- Demonstrated experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a comparable professional kitchen role
- Experience in a busy or high-volume hospitality environment
- Strong practical cooking and food preparation skills
- Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance standards
- Can keep consistency and quality during busy service periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to supervise or support junior kitchen team members; good organisation and time-management skills
- Creative approach to food preparation with a genuine commitment to quality
