Carpet & Flooring Installer
Visa sponsorship
Trade · Christchurch, New Zealand · Full-Time · $25 - $38/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
Do you want to work with floors in Christchurch? A flooring company there is growing and needs people at every level. It is looking for experienced carpet and flooring installers, senior installers who can lead jobs, and motivated people who want to learn the trade. Junior installers, apprentices and people who wish to begin an apprenticeship are welcome.
The jobs are permanent and full-time. Hours are at least 37.5 per week, often 40–42, mainly Monday to Friday. Senior installers look after a job from start to finish and support another installer or a small crew. Trainees learn next to skilled installers, and their training and duties fit their ability. Sponsorship is possible: people who need employer support for an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) are welcome to apply. The job depends on getting the right New Zealand work rights.
