Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general carpentry, framing and fixing across different sites.
- Install, repair and maintain roofing.
- Measure, cut and put together timber, framing, roofing materials and building components.
- Fit exterior cladding and architraves.
- Build steel stud work.
- Study construction drawings, plans, specifications and measurements before you start.
- Follow the instructions and plans you are given.
- Keep work safe, quick and of high quality.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Relevant residential or commercial construction experience is needed.
- A strong work history is needed, with references that support your experience and how well you work.
- Ideally, you can read construction drawings, plans, specifications and measurements, and have worked on general carpentry, framing, fixing, roofing, exterior cladding, architraves and steel stud work.
- Advantageous: Site Safe and other relevant trade tickets and licences.
