Key Responsibilities
- Give haircuts and grooming to male clients
- Do fades, skin fades and exact haircut styles
- Shape, trim and groom beards
- Ask about client wishes and suggest the right style
- Cut, blend and finish carefully, keeping every service at the same good quality
- Make each client feel welcome and build trust with regular customers
- Prepare and care for barber tools and equipment
- Keep your workstation clean, tidy and hygienic, and follow hygiene and safety rules
- Stay careful with details when the shop is busy
- Help create a friendly, professional team
- Learn current men's grooming styles and barbering skills
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven work experience as a Barber
- Shown skill in men's haircuts and styling
- Strong skills in fades, skin fades and blending
- Experience with beard trimming and grooming
- A relevant barbering qualification and/or demonstrated industry experience
- Can give evidence of earlier barbering work or experience
- Good communication with clients
- Focus on customers and a professional manner
- Reliable, on time and committed to high-quality work
- Can work alone and in a team
- Neat and professional personal presentation, and ready to take a full-time position
