Key Responsibilities
- Talk to the customer. Find out the haircut, style and grooming they want
- Cut hair with scissors, clippers and razors
- Style hair in traditional and contemporary barbering styles, with fades and tapered cuts
- Trim and shape beards and moustaches
- Give shaving services
- Give advice about hair care, grooming and good products
- Clean and disinfect tools, equipment and workstations. Keep hygiene and safety standards. Take payments. Be friendly and professional with customers
Requirements & Eligibility
- Certificate III in Barbering or Hairdressing. An equivalent qualification is also fine. Substantial relevant experience is also fine
- Demonstrated experience in barber work
- Strong skills in scissor cutting and clipper cutting
- Strong skills in fades and beard grooming
- Clear communication and customer service skills. You can work independently. You can contribute to a team
- Reliable work habits and professional presentation. You are available for a roster with weekends
