Key Responsibilities
- Service vehicles
- Do regular preventative maintenance
- Find mechanical and technical faults
- Repair vehicles
- Change worn or broken components
- Finish repairs quickly and accurately
- Inspect vehicles and tell the team about extra repairs
- Meet the quality standards of the manufacturer and the dealership
- Record your repair work, test results and advice
- Follow workplace health and safety rules
- Keep the workshop organised
- Talk clearly with colleagues and customers when needed
- Work independently and still meet quality and productivity goals
Requirements & Eligibility
- Recognised automotive trade qualification
- You have proven hands-on experience as an Automotive Technician
- Previous dealership experience
- Toyota experience highly desirable
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical abilities
- Employment history on paper that shows relevant automotive experience
- You work safely and care about quality
- Good communication skills
- Good teamwork skills
- You can work independently when required
- Current Australian driver’s licence
