Do you know European cars well? A growing workshop in Adelaide, South Australia, needs a Motor Mechanic who does. The job is full-time. You will service cars, find faults, repair them and do regular maintenance. You will use modern diagnostic technology and the manufacturer's own information to get safe, reliable results.

Key Responsibilities
- Service, diagnose and repair European vehicles
- Find and diagnose hard mechanical and electrical faults
- Repair and look after engines, transmissions, brakes, steering and suspension
- Diagnose electrical and electronic systems with scan tools and computerised diagnostic equipment
- Read fault codes, wiring diagrams, technical manuals and manufacturer specifications
- Take apart, inspect and check engines, transmissions and other parts, and fix or replace anything damaged, worn or faulty
- Do planned servicing and preventative maintenance, such as oil, filter and fluid changes
- Do brake servicing, engine tune-ups and general mechanical repairs
- Put systems and parts together again after repairs, then test them for safe and correct work
- Do road tests and final quality checks, and keep accurate records of servicing, repairs and diagnostic work
- Follow workshop safety rules and keep your work at a high standard
Requirements & Eligibility
- A recognised automotive trade qualification or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience as a Motor Mechanic
- Proven hands-on work with European vehicles
- Strong skills in finding mechanical and electrical faults
- Experience with computerised diagnostic equipment and scan tools
- You can work alone and fix faults with confidence
- Experience with BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Volvo, Land Rover, Range Rover or similar brands is highly regarded
- You can understand technical documents, wiring diagrams and manufacturer procedures
- Good English communication skills and a current driver's licence
- You plan to work full-time in South Australia
